Snow showers are overspreading the area as I write this. Total accumulations tonight into early Tuesday will be around an inch, although isolated areas may pick up a bit less and isolated areas may pick up a bit more. Before precipitation ends Tuesday afternoon, we may briefly change to some drizzle or freezing drizzle. It wouldn't be anything of consequence, though. Tuesday's highs will be in the mid-30s. After a high of 40 Wednesday, our next weather maker will produce mainly rain south of GR and mainly snow north Wednesday Night and Thursday. Light lake-effect snow showers should follow for Friday and Saturday.

Above is Tropical Cyclone Giovanna, a strong Category 4 storm, in an image from Jesse Ferrell's Accuweather blog. Giovanna will unleash 10-20 inches of rain and 145 mph winds on eastern Madagascar. Thus far, this is the Earth's strongest storm of 2012.
Have a great Tuesday!
